The surgical technique of microtransplantation of follicles allows for the precise and careful removal of follicles from the donor area, selecting those units that have the highest hair density. Stages of the procedure
Design of donor and recipient areas Performed together with the patient in accordance with their expectations.
The donor area is shaved, and the recipient area is individually designed.
Follicle removal Using a special punch and tweezers, the follicles are removed one by one with maximum precision to avoid damage.
Classification and storage The follicles are classified according to the number of hairs and stored at a low temperature to ensure their survival.
Implantation Using devices called implanters, the follicles are implanted according to the angle and direction of natural hair growth.
Immediate postoperative period
The patient is given instructions with specific care recommendations.
On the fifth day, the first wash is performed at the clinic.
Follow-up and results A schedule of visits is drawn up (these can be in person or online). Hair begins to grow after 3-4 months, and the final result is seen after 12 months.

Do I need to shave my head before the procedure?
Yes. For optimal extraction and implantation, it is recommended to shave your head.
How many follicles do I need?
It depends on the degree of alopecia. The number of follicles required is partly determined by the surgeon's assessment of the quality of the donor hair. On average, 2,500 to 3,500 follicles are needed to achieve a natural and satisfactory result.
Is this procedure painful?
The procedure is not painful as it is performed under local anaesthesia. However, patients may experience some discomfort and small scabs around the area where the transplant was performed, which should disappear after a few days and can be controlled with regular painkillers.
How long does the operation take?
Between 8 and 10 hours, depending on the number of follicles.
When can I return to work?
After 7-14 days, when there are no visible signs of the operation.
How long does it take for the transplanted hair to grow back?
It will take three to five weeks for the transplanted hair to start falling out. Approximately three months after the operation, patients will notice that their hair is starting to grow back. It may take five to six months before patients see the full potential of hair regrowth. The final result is visible after 12 months.
Will there be any scars?
No. Unlike other techniques, FUE does not leave scars.
Is the transplanted hair permanent?
Yes. It grows like the rest of the hair and does not fall out again.
Is a second hair transplant session necessary?
Some patients may need a second operation if the area of alopecia is very large and cannot be covered in one operation.
When can I have another hair transplant?
Patients who need a second operation must wait at least 6 months.
