It is ideal for women who want to improve their appearance discreetly.
Do I need to shave for the procedure?
No. The Long Hair method keeps your hair intact. Neither the donor area nor the recipient area is shaved.
Is it a painful procedure?
The procedure is not painful, as it is performed under local anaesthetic. However, patients may experience some discomfort and small scabs around the area where the transplant was performed, which should disappear within a few days and can be controlled with common painkillers.
How many follicles can be extracted?
It depends on the hair density of the donor area. It is not recommended for large areas, maximum 2500 follicles.
How long does the procedure take?
Between 8 and 10 hours, depending on the number of units to be transplanted.
Will the result look natural?
Yes. The hair grows with its natural angle and direction.
Will I have scars?
No. Unlike other techniques, FUE does not leave scars.
When will I see results?
You can see an estimated result on the same day. Over the months, the density and thickness will improve.
Is the transplanted hair permanent?
Yes. It grows like the rest of your hair and does not fall out again.
